SEPTEMBER UNHQ PAYROLL LOCK

As part of the monthly payroll processing, some Employee Self-Service functionality may be unavailable for a short period of time. The ESS freeze applies to the following staff: NY based general service staff; international staff of Peacekeeping Missions and Special Political Missions on UNHQ payroll; and NY based professional staff.

The September ‘freeze’ schedule for each of the above groups and the functionality available during each period are available in the Umoja UNHQ support page in iSeek.  

RELEASE NOTES

This week’s Release Notes feature the latest enhancements to the Umoja solution, including a new report for Treasury and Cash Management, which allows HR and Travel users respond to basic questions on banking details. Also, delays in Service Delivery while processing absence requests have been addressed by reducing the time it takes to open the information in the Time Pending Items.
