The 2018 Annual Insurance Campaign for staff around the world eligible for the UNHQ and UNOG Health Insurance Programmes will be held during the entire month of June 2018.
The Annual Insurance Campaign is the yearly opportunity for those eligible for an insurance plan sponsored by UNHQ or UNOG to review and make desired changes in accordance with plan rules.
It is highly recommended that staff members take this opportunity to carefully consider their family’s health insurance needs, as the campaign is the only opportunity to make desired changes without a qualifying event.
Prior to the Annual Insurance Campaign, staff members are encouraged to take the following steps:
- Test their access to Umoja Employee Self Service (ESS)
- Review their current health insurance participation status through Umoja Employee Self Service
o Log on to the ESS Portal;
o Click the “Employee Self-Service SM’ tab;
o Click Benefits & Payments;
o Click ‘Confirmation Form’ in the Benefits sub-section;
o View the Benefits Confirmation Statement, which will display in pdf format.
3. Review and update, if necessary, their mailing address through Umoja ESS
4. Review their recognized family members to ensure that they are properly reflected in Umoja ESS
