Upgrade of Umoja Supplier Relationship Management and Portal systems
We are pleased to announce, that, as part of continuous improvements, the Umoja Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Portal systems will be upgraded effective 30 July 2018. The upgrade will enable several new SRM features such as (a) auto-completion of frequently used values, (b) notification of reasons for shopping cart rejections, (c) mass contract updates, and (d) integration with Excel to facilitate processing of large documents. Please see the SRM Portal Upgrade flyer for more information. The upgrade is also necessary to ensure good performance of the system and to obtain proper maintenance/support from the software vendor.
The upgrade will not affect the look and feel of the SRM and Portal applications. It will enable new SRM features to improve tasks performed by specific roles relating to Source to Acquire, Personnel Administration and Financial Management. Additional guidance will be disseminated closer to the upgrade date, including updated Job Aids and Release Notes.
The upgrade will be done during the weekend starting at 12:01 am on Saturday 28 July and is expected to last until 11:59 pm on Sunday 29 July, Central European Summer Time (CEST). During the upgrade, Umoja SRM and Portal (Employee/Manager Self Service) as well as ECC’s ‘Goods Receipt’ will be unavailable.
