2016 Annual Insurance Campaign from 26 May - 30 June 2016

Note: This message is not intended for locally-recruited staff members enrolled in the Medical Insurance Plan (MIP)

Dear colleagues,

In preparation for the 2016 Annual Insurance Campaign, you are reminded to log in to the Umoja Employee Self Service (ESS) portal to confirm your present health insurance coverage.  You may print a confirmation form for your records.  

The Annual Insurance Campaign is the yearly opportunity for those enrolled in any of the UNHQ and UNOG-administered plans (Aetna, Empire Blue Cross, Cigna US Dental, HIP/HMO of New York, UN Worldwide plan administered by Cigna International and the UN Staff Mutual Insurance Society) to:

• enrol in a plan, if not presently covered

• change to another plan

• add or drop eligible family members

• terminate coverage for yourself and/or any covered family member, subject to the rules governing each individual plan.

The 2016 Annual Insurance Campaign will be held from 26 May to 30 June 2016 and will be conducted through Umoja ESS only.
