Member States have a keen interest in Programmatic and Donor Reporting, so as to better track and monitor how their voluntary contributions to various UN entities are being utilized to benefit the citizens of the world.
Until now, donor reporting had to be conducted in a largely manual fashion in the UN, and different UN entities adhered to different standards in their reporting dimensions and criteria.
As part of the March payroll processing, specific Umoja Employee Self-Service functionality will be undergoing a temporary payroll "freeze" on each payroll area. Please see additional information on iSeek.

The Office of Central Support Services (OCSS) recently held its first Umoja Real Estate Capacity Building Workshop at the Economic Commission of Africa (ECA).
The workshop consisted of Umoja End User Training and Local Process Expert (LPE) certification sessions. 20 participants, including six from peacekeeping missions, received end user training and 13 participants were successfully certified as Real Estate Local Process Experts.
As part of the February 2017 payroll processing, specific Umoja Employee Self-Service functionalities will be unavailable for a short period of time.
RELEASE NOTES
Umoja Release Notes detail all the latest enhancements made to improve the Umoja solution. In the month of January 2017 alone, the underlying software on which the Umoja solution is based was updated, upgraded or enhanced on 38 separate occasions, in as many as 28 functional areas.
