The ability to view, analyse and understand trends in data will enable strategic planning like never before. In an effort to empower staff members with these capabilities, an inventory of Reports will soon be launched on the Umoja website. Stay tuned for further updates!
TRAVEL UPDATES
The next Travel WebEx session will be held on Wednesday, 21 September 2016, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. The session will cover issues with tickets and processing expense reports, including expense reports from the previous budget period. Interested staff may access the WebEx session using this link.

SEPTEMBER UNHQ PAYROLL LOCK
BI SYSTEM UNAVAILABLE SATURDAY 3 SEPTEMBER
On Saturday 3 September 2016, the Umoja Production BI system will be unavailable between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm (New York time) to facilitate essential maintenance and patching activity. The patch will further assist in improving performance of the BI system.
On 1 July 2016, Umoja achieved another milestone by deploying the Services Delivery (SD) functionality to 23 peacekeeping missions, special political missions and DFS offices in Headquarters.
This solution allows UN departments, offices and missions that provide services to internal and external clients manage the costs and billings for their services.

Please note that most Umoja applications (ECC, SRM/Portal and Employee and Manager Self-Service)
will be unavailable from 8:00 am to 11:00 am CET (2:00 am to 5:00 am NY time) on Saturday 6 August
to conduct monthly planned aintenance activities. The Umoja BI system will be available during this
3 hour period.

Changes to Leave requests effective as of 1 August 2016
Uncertified Sick Leave can now be claimed under two leave types:
